How many Managers are there? There are 30 manager positions currently. Positions may change based on the needs of our region.

How long do Managers serve?A manager position has no term limits. At the beginning of each Sweet Adeline year ( May), each RMT member appoints and reappoints the managers who work with her.
Are Managers elected or assigned or how does that work?Download the
Interest Form and Application. All you do is fill it out, listing your areas of interest and the specific talents you have to offer.
Do Managers work mostly behind the scenes or out in front of the region?Both. Some, like the Quartet workshop manager will be very visible at the meeting, but the registration manager does most of her work behind the scenes.
Are there job descriptions or tools to help you get started as a Manager?Yes. Each position has a job description.
What's the time commitment for a Manager?Ideally, we would like a person to stay in the position for at least one year. Each job has a different time frame in regard to how much time it takes to do the job. Some positions require ongoing effort while others have more specific timelines. The best way to learn about a manager position is to chat with the current manager and see if her job is one you would like to try. I'll bet she would be glad to have you shadow her or assist her in her job.
How do I let the RMT know I'm interesting in a Manager role?Just contact any of your RMT
