Announcement of our new Director's Coordinator for Region 23
It is my pleasure to announce that Nan Stahl, director of Memphis City Sound, will be our new Director's Coordinator beginning May, 2009. Nan has been a member of Region 23 for many years. In addition to being an outstanding director, she is a past Region 23 Quartet Champion (singing baritone in "Blue Ribbon Edition")

SIDE BY SIDE - Director's Seminar and Judging Training
will be held in Detroit, Michigan on July 23 - 26, 2009 in the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. This newly developed seminar will bring directors and judges together for an exciting time of sharing and superb training. Mark your calendars, get it in your chorus budget and make your way to Detroit!! This educational event for directors has replaced our former IES week.

CONGRATULATIONS TO KIM WONDERS AND METRO NASHVILLE CHORUS!!!

They recently brought home the Division AA "Gold" following the Harmony Classic Competition in San Antonio, Texas.

They are the ONLY chorus in the whole world to win both Division A and Division AA and Region 23 is certainly proud to "claim" them as our own.

Keep setting the standard for excellence, Kim and Company!!

Many of our Region 23 choruses have open coaching sessions and would be happy for any of our directors to attend. Most have their schedules listed on their websites along with their talented coaches. We are so proud of our directors in 23 and the levels of excellence that they continue to pursue. Their hard work and love of our art form makes each of us better singers and representatives of Sweet Adelines everywhere!
