Here is a little bit about my position as Events Coordinator. I oversee all events, event managers, and ultimately regional contest. I delegate, delegate, delegate out most duties. Without help from many people, my life would be more insane than it already is. Actually, being the EVC is a very rewarding position. You constantly feel the heartbeat of the region. Region 23 is a wonderful region and those of us on the Regional Management Team are constantly trying to keep the region moving forward in what we bring educationally and administratively to the region.

Events Coordinator – Regional Appointment

• Facilitates the securing of appropriate venues for regional programs and events, including site inspections and negotiation of contracts
• Coordinates on-site arrangements for all regional meetings and events, including regional competitions
• Serves as or oversees the work of the Chair of the Regional Convention (CRC) as defined in the
• Guidelines for Regional Convention
• Works in coordination with the Marketing and Education Coordinators on marketing events
• Oversees registrations for all regional events
