It is with sad heart that we must announce our bass, Michele Anderson, has decided to step down. Her decision is based around the demands of singing in a long distance competitive quartet. We love Michele very much and hate to see her go, but we wish her the best and respect her decision to do what is best for her and her family. We felt we had a great ride over the past four months and are very pleased with our 4th place finish at our first regional contest after only five rehearsals. We will miss her deeply.

Hey quartets out there...how does your QT handle coaching? Do you primarily work with your chorus director? Are you able to take advantage of regional faculty close to you geographically? Do you leverage coaches from outside the region...or outside SAI (i.e., maybe the men's organization or non-affiliated music or voice teachers)? Do you take advantage of coaching at the Quartet Workshop? Have you ever been a Demo QT at a regional event? Please share your approach...thanks!
