New Web SAI site (November 2008)

The International Web site’s navigation is now modified with an updated global architecture for better usability and discovery of deep content links in an aesthetic design that matches the new membership campaign. The home (index) page opens with a tab navigation structure. Each tab displays information about the core content in the section. The information was derived from statistical reports tracking audience behavior. Also, the tab titles and several content titles are based on recommendations from the Technology Task Force.
As you navigate away from the home page, you will see another navigational feature – drop menus. The subpages now feature drop down menus, making all links visible with each page turn. Several pages extend the navigation even further with side navigation (convention pages for example). Our goal was to make navigating through the Sweet Adelines Web site a simple, and user-friendly experience for our members. We welcome any feedback about the new design.
Following are a few Web site features that may be of interest to your chapters:
• View interactive, digital issues of The Pitch Pipe magazine.
• Shop International Sales securely 24-hours a day. Sweet Adelines International members receive discounts on a number of products.
• Locate a Sweet Adelines International chapter anywhere in the world by using the online chapter directory search tool.
• Use the online music search tool to find music by either song name, composer, arranger or publishing company.
• Search for available quartet names and register your quartet.
• Register online for upcoming Sweet Adelines International events.
• Download a number of forms available from International headquarters from the Document Center.
• Download the latest copy of the Competition Handbook, plus recent versions of additional handbooks.
• Find resources to create a customized membership campaign that mirrors the organization’s image in the online Marketing Center.
• Find competition scores and orders of appearance.
• Enjoy championship performance video and audio.
• Find promotional videos in the Media Center.
