Who's Excited about Contest?

Oh this is my favorite time of year... spring is in the air and so is contest! Song of Atlanta (my chorus) and Shine! (my quartet) are super-stoked and geared up for a great weekend with all of our regional friends! It's going to be a fabulous time for all... I just can feel it. I think I'm going to start packing soon. :)

Well, it might be a little too early to put on your makeup but not too early to make sure you've got everything you need! I always have dreams...uh, nightmares...during the days leading up to contest that I've forgotten some crucial piece of makeup, costume, etc. and am not allowed to perform! AAAHHH!!! I can't believe contest is just 2 weeks away!! SOA is putting the final touches on its package -- one last big coaching session this Saturday -- and excited that we have so many quartets representing SOA competing this year!! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon and wishing all competitors the best!!

I am so looking forward to contest. It's my favorite time of year because I get to see all my friends and hear some really great choruses and quartets.

This is my first Regional Competition and I am sooooo excited! I have a count down going and we have exactly 14 full days left until Regional. I am looking forward to some great singing, dancing, oh and we can't forget tagging. Metro Nashville is ready for Chattanooga!!! Can't wait!!!

Here's where the rubber meets the road! It's the most wonderful time of the year... oh I know that's a Christmas song, but it works! Can't wait to see all the competing quartets and chorus'. But most of all, time to hug long distance friends!!

Oh, yeah, baby - it's Contest Time!!! It is truly THE best time of year! My quartet, Standing Room Only, and Smoky Mountain Harmony Chorus are ready to hit the stage! Standing Room Only is so lucky to have 2 terrific choruses as our support group - Song of Atlanta and Smoky Mountain Harmony. This is going to be such a GREAT contest this year - I can hardly wait to get there and hear all of the fabulous quartets and terrific choruses. But MOST of all I cannot wait to see all my Regional buds and get hugs and well wishes from all of them. Good Luck to ALL Competitors. Look out Chattanooga - Region 23 is on it's way!!

Woohoo! Regional competition! Song of Atlanta had a great coaching session yesterday with the Mighty Awesome Judy Pozsgay Rimple, and we are raring to go! We look forward to seeing everyone, and wish all the competitors their best performance ever! Break a lip, y'all!

Looking forward to a great weekend. I'm so excited knowing that we are going to have 10 YWIH quartets competing Thursday night. Do you know that we are only one of a few regions that hold YWIH contests? Wishing you all good luck in your choruses and quartets!! Sue Ann

The make up hmmm. I'm excited because as singing in the region has improved, I know it will continue to show up on the contest stage. Even though we're competing for evaluation only this year, I can't wait to show what we have been working on for the year and to see old friends and to make new ones. My car's tuned up and ready to roar to the mighty Choo-Choo.
